RIDING WAIVER
This form must be filled out and brought with you and handed into a EEA team member BEFORE you ride on the property. You only need to fill out this form once, and it is held on file. Click here to view the waiver form.
CLINIC & PRIVATE LESSON BOOKINGS
When booking into a clinic or private lesson you acknowledge and accept:
All Elite Equestrian Academy rules and regulations.
That in the event you need to cancel for whatever reason a refund is only offered if your position in the clinic can be filled.
Every effort will be made by the EEA team to find a replacement but the onus is also on you to be proactive in filling your place at the clinic.
That in the event you need to cancel within 24hrs prior to your lesson day, the full lesson fee will be required. 48hrs {2 days} prior to your lesson day is half of full fee.
GENERAL FACILITY RULES AND REGULATIONS
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- The horses that reside at Elite Equestrian Academy along with those who attend our services are always our paramount welfare concern. All those who enter the property must share our welfare concern at all times.
- Driveway speed is always walking pace.
- Please remember to print off and fill in an indemnity waiver form before riding for the first time on the property. Please click here for the indemnity form.
- Horse owners must maintain their own insurance on their horse, themselves and their property and any damage they or their horse may incur. At no time do Elite Equestrian Academy accept liability for the health, safety or wellbeing of either horses, owners, riders, handlers or any other person on the property. All persons who enter the property, do so at their own risk.
- Approved safety helmets must be worn at all times while riding.
- All individuals handling horses must wear appropriate footwear at all times.
- Horses must be tied in a safe manner and no horse is to approach or touch another horse kept on the property.
- Parking is on grass area in the middle of the roundabout
- Steel day yards can be used at any time (E.g. lessons, clinics, professional services, ect).
- Agistors may tie in post and rail private yard.
- Children must be under adult supervision at all times.
- Manure and hay to be picked up before departing property and placed around garden beds neatly.
- Please ensure all taps are turned off properly and water use is at a minimum due to tank water only.
- Please ensure all gates are closed at all times.
- As much as we love dogs and other pets, but out of respect of our animals please leave them at home.
- Tea and coffee facilities provided in the barn, please wash, dry and replace mugs/cutlery.
- Toilet facility is available in barn.
- All users, riders, friend and family enter Elite Equestrian Academy upon your own risk and we take no responsibility for incidents that might occur. Please remember horse riding is a dangerous and unpredictable sport. Horses and owners enter the property at their own risk.
- We expect all users to treat each other with respect and curtesy, we pride ourself in being a peaceful and happy environment.
- Please remember to pay lesson or user fees before leaving property.

CLOTHING: All persons whilst riding on Elite Equestrian Academy property require a current approved Australian Safety Standards Safety Helmet and properly heeled boots.
RUBBISH: All rubbish must be placed in the rubbish bins provided. If bins are full please take your rubbish home with you. Please do not overfill bins.
MANURE: The owner or person who is in charge of the horse must pick up all manure, wet shavings and hair. Manure to be placed on gardens.
DOGS: No dogs allowed at any time.
CHILDREN: Children must be kept under strict supervision at all times, and seated accordingly. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by and adult at all times.
SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited on the property.
DAMAGE: Damage to any equipment or facilities must be reported to EEA team immediately.
FIRE: Please call 000 immediately and advise EEA team.
INJURED RIDERS: If a rider is in danger or is injured, notify EEA team immediately. In the case of a serious injury, call 000 ambulance, administer first aid if trained and remain with person until ambulance arrives. All injuries no matter how small must be reported to EEA team.
WASH BAY: Horses must not be tied at the wash bay other than for the purpose of using the hose. These facilities are solely for the washing of horses ridden at EEA.
FIRST AID: A first aid box is located in the tack room in the stables. Please inform EEA team if you have used any items from this box so they may be immediately replaced.
ALCOHOL: Is not permitted on the property unless by prior arrangement with EEA team.
ARENA
All riders must sign the waiver form before they first ride at EEA.
Please be mindful of other riders in the arena at the same time.
Horses working at a slower pace, ride on inside track.
You must always pass left hand to left hand.
Please remove manure on leaving arena.
ROUND YARD
“Liberty” and lunging work is permitted in the round yard only.
Only one horse is allowed in the round yard at any given time.
Please remove manure on leaving round yard.
STABLES
Stables must be booked and paid for in advance.
TIE-UPS & YARDS
Day yards are provided for you to allocate your horse to during clinic days and/or lessons.
Please clean your yard and float area prior to leaving.
